Low Voltage & Structured Cabling in Atlanta
Network cabling, Wi-Fi, lighting and smart home wiring for Atlanta homes and offices, run cleanly and labeled so it still makes sense in ten years.
Low Voltage and Structured Cabling
A Contractor That Speaks Tech
Low voltage is the wiring most contractors subcontract and most IT companies cannot install in a wall. We do both sides. Unlimited Pre-Construction runs structured data cabling, mounts and powers Wi-Fi access points, wires lighting controls and prewires smart home systems, then sets up the hardware on the other end.
For homes, that means the home office gets a wired connection instead of a weak signal, cameras and doorbells have power and data where they need it, and the TV wall has its cabling hidden. For offices, it means clean, labeled drops terminated to a patch panel, so the next IT person can trace a cable without a ladder.
Low Voltage Services
Who We Do This For
Home offices and smart homes
Wired connections where you work, mesh or access point Wi-Fi that reaches the back yard, and prewire for cameras and smart devices.
Offices and retail
Structured cabling for new buildouts and cleanups of years of tangled additions, terminated, tested and labeled.
Renovations in progress
Open walls are the cheapest time to run cable. We prewire during our own projects or alongside another contractor's.
How It Works
Survey
We look at the space, where devices and people will be, and how cable can be routed without damage.
Plan and quote
A drop list and written quote, so you know exactly what is being installed and where.
Install, test, label
Cabling run and terminated, every line tested, labeled and documented at hand-off.
The one-team advantage. The same team that frames and finishes the wall runs the cable inside it, so nothing gets covered up before it is in and tested.
Low Voltage FAQ
What counts as low voltage work?
Low voltage covers the wiring for data networks, phones, cameras, access control, audio and video, doorbells and lighting controls, as opposed to the standard power wiring for outlets and circuits.
Can you run network cable in a finished house?
Usually, yes. We fish cable through walls, attics and crawlspaces to minimize patching, and where we do need to open a wall we repair it ourselves.
Do you install Wi-Fi access points?
Yes. Hard-wired access points give far better coverage than a single router, and we mount, power and configure them.
Do you work on offices as well as homes?
Yes. We cable new office buildouts and clean up existing networks for small and mid-sized businesses across metro Atlanta.
